Battery Recycling Program

Millennium UPS is committed to doing our part in protecting the environment. In most cases, battery manufacturers recommend replacement after 48-60 months of service. Once a VRLA battery has reached its end of life period, it requires both replacement and proper recycling. Millennium UPS offers a comprehensive solution when performing this replacement so as to deliver the used batteries to a government approved EPA facility. Our services include complete removal and clean-up of all acid and hazardous materials left behind by the decayed batteries. Battery cables and cabinets or racks can also be removed if they are no longer needed. This service is provided to the public in an effort to maintain responsibility for keeping our environment clean and safe.
